Your deposit goes towards your share of this year's Bristol Bay sockeye salmon catch. Each share consists of a 22 LB box of wild Bristol Bay sockeye fillets 1-2 lbs each that are hand- harvested and kept in refrigerated seawater until they are filleted pinboned flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed with cutting edge processing technology locking in the spectacular taste.

Cooking & Prep

Handling and Recipes

Your fish will arrive frozen. Please place it in the freezer upon arrival. Properly frozen vacuum-sealed packages are good in the freezer for up to one year.

Defrost

  • Keep frozen until ready to eat.
  • Thaw overnight in the refrigerator (cut open bag to let air in) or 30 minutes in COLD water (bag sealed)

Cook Remove from packaging, rinse in cold water, and pat dry

Cook to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F

  • Grill on high heat for 10-15 minutes
  • Bake at 350 for 15-25 minutes
  • Saute on medium-high for 3-5 minutes on each side
Garlic Lemon Baked Salmon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 fresh salmon filets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs like dill or parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon filets dry with paper towels. This helps the seasoning stick better.
  3. Season the salmon: Season both sides of the salmon filets with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Sauté the garlic: In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.
  5. Prepare the baking dish: Place the salmon filets in a baking dish lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with olive oil.
  6. Top with garlic and lemon: Pour the sautéed garlic and olive oil mixture evenly over the salmon filets. Place lemon slices on top of each filet.
  7. Bake the salmon: Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your filets, so keep an eye on them.
  8. Serve: Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the oven. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot.
